I think the heart making the resolution is highly important than the time of the year it was made...weather resolutions will be broken or kept is a function of the heart of the person resolving . Most resolution are broken because the heart has not be well developed to stand by it resolutions , A boy at the age of 17 decided that if God could deliver him from His father who meet him a neighour compound stealing mango fruits , He will never eat Mango fruits again, now he is 50 years old he has kept to that resolution. Also there are people that keep failing at there resolutions irrespective of anytime it was made because because their heart has not come to level where it can rule over their body...In all their is no general rule ; The strong fall and the weak also rise in the same situation time and chance happen to them ALL.
