I have never experienced the four seasons. Here, it is either the Rainy Season or Dry Season and that's it! In most parts of Nigeria, especially the South Eastern part of Nigeria, the Rainy Season stretches from March through October. There is a short period of dryness without the accompanying cold harmattan air after which the weather gets slightly colder with the harmattan wind.

The Harmattan is a dry, dust-laden continental wind which has its origin in the Bodélé Depression in the Chad basin. In Nigeria the Harmattan can be experienced from November to March, when the Harmattan replaces the dominant south westerly maritime Monsoon wind.
The only thing that's a fairly dominant feature of our climate is the sun. Nigeria has an area of 923,768.00 sq kilometres and lies between latitude 40 and 140 North of the equator and longitudes 30 and 140 East of the greenwich meridian. The area bounded by the Tropic of Cancer on the North and Tropic of Capricorn on the south is known as the "tropics." This area does not experience seasons because the sun is always high in the sky [1] Only higher latitudes, north of the Tropic of Cancer and south of the Tropic of Capricorn, experience significant seasonal variation in climate. So Nigeria is entirely within the tropics.
If you live north of the Tropic of Cancer or south of the Tropic of Capricorn, the sun will never be directly overhead but here most parts of the year we have the sun sun directly overhead. This makes Nigeria a good candidate for solar renewable energy.
I hope this has been informative for you. Thank you for reading.
