At first glance, the almonds seem to be moving. Even at second sight, but they are actually quite still. It's your flickering eyes that play your brain a jumper and get the almonds to dance.
Our eyes are automatically drawn to contrasts and because they are everywhere in the picture, the eyes begin to move around that the brain misinterprets and think it is the moving picture.
It's not the almonds that move, but your peeling look and your confused mind that make it look like that.
However, with some good will you can get silence in the optical villa. Focus on a single almond. If you keep your eyes still calm, the other almonds will stop moving.
