A farmer in California owns a beautiful pear tree. He supplies the fruit to a nearby grocery store. The store owner has called the farmer to see how much fruit is available for him to purchase. The farmer knows that the main trunk has 24 branches. Each branch has exactly 12 boughs and each bough has exactly 6 twigs. Since each twig bears one piece of fruit, how many plums will the farmer be able to deliver?

None. A pear tree does not bear plums.

3-The hotel man

A woman is sitting in her hotel room when there is a knock at the door. She opened the door to see a man whom she had never seen before. What made the woman so suspicious of the man?

**ANSWER**

You don't knock on your own hotel door and the man did.

4-The great escape

A man is trapped in a room. The room has only two possible exits: two doors. Through the first door there is a room constructed from magnifying glass. The blazing hot sun instantly fries anything or anyone that enters. Through the second door there is a fire-breathing dragon. In the room there's a hole in the ceiling, there's also a table and a chair. How does the man escape?

**ANSWER**

He waits for night and goes through the first door.
