Looking at the night’s sky, dreaming... but with extra help.

If you dream while looking up at the night’s sky... if you are looking at the moon during the day and understand... that all of these could be reached even if you could just fly towards them. They are really there, and not just drops of paint on a canvas.

There are a few channels on youtube that I am aware and follow and I wanted to share them with all sci-fi dreamers out there, all those who feel that the Earth is no longer big enough for the human potential:

Isaac Arthur: my favourite as his channel publishes a video every Thursday and he takes a realistic, “down to earth” approach, bringing maths into the equation and explaining in lay terms how colonisation of planets/starts, etc could be achieved, how the Earth could look like in the future and how life might be for the evolved humans, as well as how establishing contact with aliens might be possible. I advise checking his older videos and go through them in order. It will be a delight!

Astrum: a very little known young, bright and enthusiastic person who just finished his degree and painstakingly goes through thousands of images to select a few and bring to life his rare, but extremely captivating videos. In matters of visuals and presentation he is my favourite. You feel the passion in his voice and it gets you daydreaming...

Scott Manley: regular updates, pertinent videos, a Kerbal Space Programe game addict and someone who sticks to the point and explains things well... aaand he finishes with “I’m Scott Manley; Fly safe!” – like the next thing we are going to do after watching his videos and drinking cans of beer is to get into our spaceship and depart towards... Neptune, or I don’t know... while being drunk to boot! We can only wish!

Fraser Cain: has weekly Q&A videos and he addresses people’s questions in the comment sections of his previous videos. A good chance to improve your understanding of space, share some ideas or get answers to those burning queries you have kept for so long!

Curious Droid: reliable and well documented videos touching on spaceships, NASA’s plans, historical advancements and also on other technology related subjects. Well made videos, warm voice and good visuals too. Worth every minute.

Paraphrasing, I say:
"I’m Zrumgaar; enjoy the Space!"
