PROJECT LAB: Setting Up A Science Laboratory For our School (Update #8)

A thankful heart is indeed a happy heart.

Project LAB is almost done. I only need just a little more help and support for me to be able to reach the finish line. With this, I am soooo grateful and of course sooo happy. #fingerscrossed🙏

Project LAB aims to raise enough funds to set up Science Laboratory in San Miguel Central School, San Miguel, Leyte, Philippines. It has a goal of providing the class with the necessary equipment to achieve better learning among the pupils. Laboratory activities are necessary to provide hands-on experiences with the learners, thus making their learning much more fun and meaningful.

FOR THE UPDATE:

Today I was able to paint my working tables. Yey! I also added @fundition stickers to let others know that these were made possible because of @fundition, sort of promotion also.

Working tables are necessary especially in Science class because pupils are doing their experiments everyday and these will be hard if pupils will only do them on the floor. And the equipment might be broken if mishandled.

In my class, I actually need at least 4 working tables. But I was only able to do the two tables yet.

Cash Left from Previous post: P 3,360.28

Total Cash in Hand: P 5,366.05

Less Expenses: P1,735.00

Cash Left: P 3,631.05

This amount will be used to buy another set of materials for my last two tables. As I have mentioned in my previous post, one table will cost approximately P 2,760. So, I still need P 1,888.95 or approximately 35USD.

If you can notice, my project has already been 92.56% funded based on the target goal that I have set. When I had my proposed target fund in @fundition, it was only 500$. I am so happy that I am almost there. However, I didn't expect that what I need would be greater than my target fund.

I still need the following:

Microscope (P6,500) = approximately 125USD
2 pcs Iron stand/ iron ring = approximately 20USD
For my Last Working Table = approximately 35USD

TOTAL FUND NEEDED: 175USD

This will be the last amount that I will be needing to complete my project LAB.

As promised, there will be transparency in every purchase that I will make.
