This is the 46th update post for the Fundition.io project I have created with regards to the fundraising for flood relief activities in the form of the donations to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund in the South Indian State of Kerala.

Updates for last 5 days:
Kerala government had a cabinet meeting and decided to increase the compensation to construct the flood damaged houses due to INR 4 Lakh Rupees and this decision will benefit about 2.43 Lakh families who have suffered heavy loss due to recent flood.
The compensation norms also changed to consider that a house with 75% damage would be considered as fully damaged.
This change will cost over INR 1000 Crore and state has decided to utilize the money from Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund(CMDRF) on top of the INR 450 Crore fund the state has received from National Disaster Fund from Central government.
With this proposed change, the people who wants to construct the flood affected houses on their own, they will get 4 Lakh Rupees.
Meanwhile, United Nations submitted a report to Kerala Chief Minister telling that, the state would need INR 31,000 Crore Rupees for relief and reconstruction activities.
We can re-collect that, a UN team had visited Kerala last month and assessed the flood condition and damages and the same team has came back with this report in about 20 days.
UN team has assured Kerala CM that, it will help in arranging the internationally recognized technologies for re-constructing the state.
Updates on Donations and Support:
We had a fresh donation from @siamcat and she continues to keep track of the updates of this project. I am grateful to her for her support, donations and also encouraging the people to donate to this project.
As I wrote this blog, another donation came in from @scottcbusiness, who is already supporting the fundraising blogs I am writing on Whaleshares.
We had huge upvotes from @fulltimegeek, @fulltimeangel and fulltime bots and @delso also pitched in with a huge upvote on the last update post and I would like to thanks all these awesome people.
Just in case, you have spare witness votes and haven't voted @fulltimegeek as Witness, I would recommend to give a Witness vote to him for the support he is giving to many people like me.
The total amount including all donations and upvote supports stands at 1251$ 1165$ out of the designated goal of 1500$ and the details are available in below screenshot. The decline in Steem price is the cause for decreasing aggregate amount.
