I am glad to see your donation and more than that, I would like to thank you for spreading news about this cause and hopefully many of your followers and others will donate to this cause and I would like announce as I write this reply that Fundition has approved this project and will be supporting trough their upvotes to support this donation activity, so that, the goal can be achieved at a faster pace.
As I could see the overwhelming response from Steemians like you, I am thinking of revising the goal so that we can together provide a donation of INR 1 Lakh Rupees (Approximately US$ 1500). I will discuss about this with the Fundition team and revise the goal accordingly.

Thank you for building confidence about reaching the goal of 1 Lakh Rupees.
As soon as I saw about flood news in Kerala, I just discussed with couple of Funditians about my intention of creating a project to raise funds for donating to Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund and I got green signal and that's how this all started.
Although we are trying to donate the money to a Government, we still have issues with regards to transferring the money as Indian government has banned cryptocurrencies. I have sought help of a friend who will be helping me to convert the Steem to $ and will transfer through Paypal and that amount, I need to transfer to Kerala CM's Distress Relief Fund account. Let's hope this goes through smoothly without any issue and me being tracked by IT dept.
