Hi everyone,
The past few weeks have been very overwhelming in terms of school activities for both Myke and Mark. Before the first semester ended they exerted a great deal of effort in finishing all of their requirements in each of their subjects.
The highlight of their first semester was their final performance and output in Food Processing, their major subject, in which they made chicken tocino. They were graded not only based on the final product but also with the process of how the product was made. And guess what? Both of them got a final grade of 95 in the said subject. We couldn't be more proud of these two!
Some of the other projects and final requirements they did were a video presentation (documentary film) for their Media Information and Literacy subject that tackled about the struggles and difficulties of deaf and mute students.
They also performed a stage play of High School Musical for their 21st Century Literature subject in which their class (@chinitacharmer 's class advisory) was hailed as the CHAMPION after competing with other sections. Their victory gave them a privilege to be exempted in their final examination for the said subject.
In my subjects, Oral Communication and English for Academic and Professional Purposes, their class did a mini literary show for the former, in which they performed literary acts such as story telling, readers' theater, jazz chants, extemporaneous speaking, etc. However, the deaf and mute students only served as props men for their classmates since they couldn't speak. For the latter, they wrote several academic papers such as Review Paper for a film and a book, Reaction Paper for the social issue Inflation, and a Concept Paper.
There were a lot more that made them busy apart from preparing for the final examination. But, even though they were bombarded with academic stuff, they were still able to accomplish every single thing that needs to be done efficiently.
To wrap this update up, we are very happy to announce that Mark and Myke have PASSED all of their subjects with a pretty high grade for the first semester!
First semester is finally over and with everyone's help, things have become much easier for our scholars! With that, we are grateful beyond words! :)
In the next few days, we will be introducing our 6th scholar, whom you will surely love! Stay tuned! :)
