Thank you very much for all your entries! It's fantastic that thanks to you we could see all these wonderful dishes! Choosing the winners was so difficult but it's time to know the results!

That's how I imagine a local breakfast. A simple, full-size set prepared according to a classic recipe with the addition of ingredients that can be found only in a specific region. Something wonderful!

Info: Tapsilog stands for tapa's, sinangag (fried rice), and itlog (egg). An all time traditional breakfast from the philippines. Beef is marinated with soy sauce, calamansi (philippine lemons), ground pepper and marinated overnight. The more it marinates, the more its flavourful. It is cook in stir fry and best to accompany with egg on the side. It has tangy to sweet flavour and is very delicious..

I could have such a breakfast every day! And knowing the creativity of the people in Venezuela, I'm sure that I would find a different filling in this dish every day! 😉

Info: Venezuelan empanadas with different filling to the consumer's taste, essential in breakfasts and dinners of homes in this country, is prepared with precooked flour is placed a little salt and water is beaten until you have an ideal mass to make balls that are then crushed to place your filling that goes from cheese, chicken, meat, fish, ham and others then giving it the shape as a half moon, which is fried in plenty of oil until golden brown.
They are served with their particular dressing called guasacaca and with the ideal drink the malt.

Another breakfast from Venezuela. As far as I know Empanadas, this is the first time I saw this dish. It's inspiring, looks great and I think it delivers a lot of energy in the morning. 😄

Country: Venezuela

Info: tequeño, is a fried breaded cheese stick or a spear of bread dough with queso blanco (white cheese) in the middle.
It is prepared with a dough of wheat flour that wraps a piece of white cheese cut into small rectangular blocks, and is fries about two to three minutes in oil. Once fried, it acquires a cylindrical shape with a crunchy coating on the outside that covers the melted cheese.
