World's Greatest Shave Update

It's been about a month since I launched my campaign with this fundraising post. That post generated enough that I was more than happy to make a $100 donation from Steem, which along with @Jagged's donation of $30 still has Steem users ahead of all my other contributors.

I'd really love to see more though, be it someone else running a fundraising post to support this or making direct donations to the campaign.

Any direct donations will be added into my signature for a week, as well as inclusion in the thank you post that I'll advertise people to go check out what you're doing.

Any fundraising posts will be 100% upvoted by me, and resteemed for better coverage, and will also be included in my thank you post after the campaign.

Asides from helping out sick kids and their families, you'll also be getting rid of this hair. All of it. It'll be shaved to a #1 length, and photos will be posted afterwards so you can all see what you did to me.

How to Donate

The easiest way is to just visit my fundraising page and click the 'Sponsor Me' button under my photo. The page it takes you to has multiple preset amounts with 'other' at the right hand end to allow you to set how much you want to donate, which I encourage you to use. There are options to hide your name and/or amount, and then the payment options which are Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) or Paypal.

A little more inconvenient, depending on how you like to do things, is to make a direct transfer, which I'm not entirely sure how it appears on my campaign, but I assume it's to do with the note value. To do this you need to either go online with your bank, or visit a branch to deposit your donation with the following details:

And the final method is to hand me cash in person. If you're in Sydney, there's a meetup in just over a week that I'll definitely be at and I'll have my cardboard donation box with me too. I'll gladly take shrapnel in that method too, because that really adds up quickly, and no amount is too small.

I'm still working on the first weekend in March being the shave date, but a location and a shaver still need organising. And preferably a photographer/videographer.
