I've seen a lot of bots. But I'm going to say, but if people are going to use them, it would be nice for them to use one that helps other people instead of just the person that owns it. I personally haven't used any bots yet. Not really sure how they work. Or if I'll get in trouble for using them. I figure I probably should just play it safe and build relationships organically, and just grow naturally. Will I get in trouble if I use a bot?

Using a bid bot is just to boost your post for awareness. It's somewhat gray hat as some people say it's not ideal, but it's widely done and generally accepted. There is a website you can see all the bots people bid for their posts to be upvoted here: https://steembottracker.com/bottracker.html#

Yeah you're going to have a lot of accounts following you that are like that. I can understand why newbies gravitate towards these services. I remember making like no money or having really low views when i first started. But sticking with quality content and being genuineover time pays off! My highest paid blog TO DATE was actually back last year just a couple WEEKS after i started on here. It made like $297! It was a passioned piece i wrote about the executioners life. I haven't even come close to hitting that amount again but that's asides from the point. :)
