~ TREE SPAWN ~

Here is my contribution to #FungiFriday and #FungusAmongUs! These mushrooms all seem to be spawning right out of the trees themselves or the moss on the trees. I love the fact that in winter here in Sweden you can still find pearls of beauty hidden in plain sight! All of these images are taken in macro so all of the imagery is much, much smaller than it appears!

If you look closely in the image above... you can see a little clover looking leaf in the shape of a heart! I really liked the sheen and the gills from this profile perspective.

This looks like a baby version of the mushroom from the first photograph.

This next tiny unfolding "Umbrella Mushroom" is growing sideways out from under the moss!

The tonal values of the white were hard to capture. The cap was almost transparent... but if you look close... you can still see underside of the cap.
