Fungi Friday - Mushrooms and OrchidssteemCreated with Sketch.

Here's a new mushroom kit for this #fungifriday by @ewkaw

This is a lion's mane block. I just started this yesterday so who knows when the little guys will start showing up.

Eventually this block will form this.

My golden oyster block has started forming more mushrooms as well.

Hopefully this round will be a bit less deformed than the last batch. I put them in more indirect light this time to see if that has any effect on their shape.

Though it seems like they might look mangled again...

A couple of my orchids are blooming again.

This white one blooms every year on time. Some of my rarer orchids are hit and miss with their blooms.

These white ones are good for feeding food coloring. They eventually absorb it and it shows up in the petals. I haven't tried it yet maybe if this grows another stalk I'll give it a test.

Here's my other orchid, I think this is a purple one. It should be ready to bloom in a couple days.

That's it for this #fungifriday with bonus orchids and a bonus sunrise that happened this morning.

On the second photo it looks like some kind of coral :D

The orchids are great! Mine didn't even start with the spikes. But I noticed they are always later than everyone eases.
The food die should work. Try with blue - you will get the ones that sell in shops for tipple the price :P
I also heard the colour is injected into the stem... not sure if it give better result though.

Humm the pharmacist will give me funny looks as i buy food coloring and syringes lol. I bet there are special orchid syringes out there. When i first got these white ones they were injected with a pink dye, blue ones look way cooler.
