Riddle 1..steemCreated with Sketch.

Hello friends!, As you know, I love riddles, and in particular this is one of my favorites.

I invite you to put your neurons to work for a little while, and I challenge you to answer the following brainteaser:

On a table there are three black hats and two white ones. Three women in a single row put on a random hat each and without looking at the color.

The third of the row is asked, she can see the color of the hat of the second and first, if she can tell the color of her hat, to which she responds negatively.

The second women is asked to see only the first hat, and can not answer the question either.

Finally, the first of the row that does not see any hat, rightly answers what color is the hat she was wearing.

What is this color and what is the logic she use to know it?

Let's think!! ;)

The first and the second one are wearing white ones so the possibility of any more white hats becomes zero. Hope this is right. Good riddle by the way. Cheers!

Sorry :(, but is incorrect..

The answer is black! when the third person is asked and said that she couldn't answer, she eliminates the posibility that the second and first one have two whites hats, in that case there's three posible scenarios:

  • The second one has a white hat and the first one a black hat.
  • The second one has a black hat and the first one a white hat.
  • The second one has a black hat and the first one a black hat.

The only way the second one could've had the right answer is if she sees a white hat in the first lady, in that case she would've known for sure she had a black hat but since that didn't happen the first one concluded she was the one wearing the black hat!!!

It took me half hour and a piece of paper to solve it but it was fun! Cheers ;)

hahahaha Correct!!!
