The partner of a coworker of mine has been accepted into the upcoming Nashville Red Bull Flugtag competition! We are all very excited about this at my work - the same guy has previously been on two seasons of TV's Battlebots and we all had a lot of fun getting to root for him and his robot.
If you don't know what Flugtag is, do yourself a favor and search for Red Bull Flugtag on Youtube and watch some videos. It is a human powered flight contest but really it is mostly a human powered falling object contest and it is hilarious.
Here is a link to the kickstarter for Team WooHoo - check it out, they are planning on "flying" a bicycle powered bar/tavern into the river :) Please "share" the kickstarter on your social media (and here on Steemit of course) if you want to help out but can't contribute funding!
