I'm not having much luck with Steemit. I post my photography and I know it's at very high level but still I don't get many views or up votes. Also the promoting thing is silly, 1 Steem dollar to promote a post? It took me 7 days to get that steem dollar and now it's too late to promote the post because you can't promote a post after 7 days.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
