Guy fakes his own death to see how his kitty reacts. To see the final outcome of his test, you can go straight to the video below.
From the first day a pet arrives in your house, it instantly becomes one of the family. They get treated with the same love and affection as the kids. Dogs are very loyal. They show you the same unconditional love and affection back.
Cats are also lovely pets, but unlike dogs they are a little more cold hearted. They are a bit more selective about when they show their affections. There'll be days when they won't come near you, then others when they will sit on your lap for hours.
They are very unpredictable creatures in the sense that it is hard to figure out how they genuinely feel towards you. Are they using you for food, a nice warm place to sleep, or do they genuinely love you? There is a great way of testing this out, and that is to fake your own death in front of your cat. "That's a crazy idea, nobody would ever do that" you may be asking, but one guy tried it!
That guy was Cory, the owner of a 10-year-old Bengal mix called Sparta, who he adopted back in 2007. Sparta is an unusual cat who had a lot more traits of a dog than your usual cat. He liked playing fetch, wrestling and also being held and cuddled just like a baby.
As Sparta showed a lot more love and affection than your regular cat, owner Cory once asked himself: “What would my cat do if I suddenly died?”. To find out the answer to his question, Corey decided to fake his own death in front of Sparta to see how he would react.
Luckily for all of us, he decided to capture the whole event on video so we can witness this unusual priceless moment. What did Sparta do.... do he approach his owner with worry, run away, or did he do nothing at all? To see what happened, check out the video below to see the whole thing.
We would no love to see what happens if the same thing is tried in front of a dog. If anybody is curious and wants to try this, feel free to send us the video of your results.
