it can't be rolled back, it's broken by design
:-]
i always viewed steemit as a nice and interesting experiment, a toy, but not viable, it's obvious for anyone with technical understanding.
the block reward in bitcoin has always been a well-thought-out game-theoretical device, it's not a good idea to transfer that concept to "human mining through posting", because it has always been obvious that this can be gamed.

I see more in steem than just rewards.

Tell me.
How does your whining make my steem experience bad? ;)
Just because you don't earn as much as you want, I still like the system.
Not because of these few €€.. Because I'm like 1 month in here and met more intelligent and open-minded people than in my whole life ;)
Also an awesome possibility to educate earthlings and a super fancy way for everyone to gain knowlegde.
Sorry for my bad english. I just got up.

It can easily be changed back to a different 'rewards-formula'.

The Posting Rewards of STEEM had been a well-thought-out game-theoretical device, too.

it isn't, it can't be secure enough, it's impossible, because everything boils down to energy at the end of the day.

You do understand, that Steem isn't POW, but stake -based ?
It all boils down to processing power; quantum computing will eventually crack bitcoin.

yes, and that's exactly the problem.
it won't

I understand you are some die-hard btc fanboy.
That's ok.
But you reply is some bullshit.
Steem is POS and therefore no: it doesn't boil down to energy, because it' s not POW.

you misunderstood, i said that is the problem that it's not energy based, because ultimately, everything is based on energy. all permissionless-consensus-critical crypto-systems that do not understand this only boil down to an inelegant or obscure form of proof-of-work at the end of the day again.
