The National Emergencies Commission declared a red alert for the entire Pacific coast, Central Valley and northern zone and a yellow alert in the Caribbean due to the influence of the tropical depression number 16 that over Costa Rica.
In our village, Rio Claro de Pavones 3 fishing boats with 9 men aboard are still missing since last night - now almost 24hrs we are waiting for news.
Telephone, electricity and mobile communications have been down for 24hrs but just came back on.
I will try to keep you all posted.
