I think the word value is not too bad. I have seen some much worse, including English and Chinese tattoo.

Haha really think carefully if you want a Chinese tattoo. Find a Chinese tattoo artist whose first language is Chinese. There are some words and fonts only make people who know Chinese laugh and laugh~ I saw from web there is a Vietnam tattoo artist who admire Chinese culture and learn Chinese. But his tattoo... really OMG

And one very very important thing! Don't make the Chinese translation of your name as tattoo!

I have a chinese tattoo. I remember I was 15 or 16 years old and went with a tattoo shop with a girl I was dating at the time who wanted to buy a belly button ring. While she browsed the rings I was looking at the designs on the walls.

A guy comes up to me and says "you know what you want"? I was so shocked someone was going to give me a tattoo I stuck out my hand and pointed at the first thing I saw, a chinese symbol that supposedly meant live for the day.

A few years later a chinese women told me it meant poor man
