Over the years I’ve met some people with rather fascinating stories and randomly thought of one today and felt the need to share.
While in the military the people you work with are your family as you see them more often than your actual blood family. One guy would tell me some pretty hilarious stories about times before having joined. One time he says he was out of work, living in New York City but wanted to look and feel important to meet pretty ladies.
During what would be considered lunchtime in Manhattan there are thousands of people cutting across the city for one reason or another. He tells me that him and a friend would go to Wall Street wearing their fanciest suit and carrying a briefcase. I said it sounds like fun as I guess things were beginning to take a turn for the better. That wasn’t the case at all. Instead, he says he had nowhere to go and would put a sandwich in the briefcase telling people he was a banker. By the way this was in the early 90s and he had a brick phone making it seem like he was someone really important.
It's sad but true as more people pay attention to what they can see instead of what they can actually see.
100% agree with you
there are lot of fake people out there

For me it isn't even so much about the fake people. Those that are like my friend they aren't bad because they are doing something to achieve something and they're over it. The dangerous ones are those that just don't realize they are that person because they are in so deep.
