    I don't get it. How would you convert it to usd without powering down?

    If its relevant to the "don't count your chickens before they hatch" which I guess in this case would be a metaphor for the value of your wallet and not to count on it being the USD amount it displays right now, then what does it have to do with image? Is the 3rd egg supposed to display the 3rd power down?
