UNCLE STEPHEN
Last week I told you a story of how my Nephews had diagnosed me with "Dancer's Hip".... well the story continues..!!
For the one's that need bringing up to speed, here's the link to thrilling opening blog......

The story picks up from where we left off.
On Wednesday the Nurse took my blood for some tests and the Doctor gave me an appointment card for an X-Ray.
On Friday the blood results came in, and all good..!!
Before I tell you what happened, about 2 years ago I decided to go on a "Sugar Reduced Diet" and it has been the BEST thing I have done.
I can STRONGLY recommend it for a healthy lifestyle and one that has helped tremendous with my Blood Test Results.
Personalised Health Plan for Mr Stephen P Kendal
Height - 1.83 m
Weight - 90.3 Kg (a bit fat..!!)
BMI - 27.0 Kg/m2 (see above..!!)
Blood Pressure - 110/80 (pretty cool with that..!!)
Total Cholesterol - 4.3 mmol/L (very pleased..!!)
HDL Cholesterol - 1.4 mmol/L (very pleased..!!)
Cholesterol Ratio - 3.1 (very pleased..!!)
Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Risk - 3% (over the moon..!!)
When I collected the results on Friday the Nurse was pretty impressed with the CVD Ratio of 3%, but not as impressed as I was..!!
She said I was "fat", but I can deal with that..!! :)
I told her about the Sugar Reduced Diet that I had been on for the last 2 years and she that it was likely to have had a huge contributory factor to the low Cholesterol counts and a low CVD Ratio.
I just need to loose a bit of weight as apparently "having big bones" is no longer an excuse..... apparently..!! :)
X-Ray
With stellar Blood Test Results and feeling pretty good about life I popped over to the Hospital yesterday to get the "Dancer's Hip" x-rayed.
I couldn't help have a good giggle with the guys in the hospital and have a few rolling around about my self diagnosed condition..!!
In and out of the x-ray department in about 15 minutes but not until I found out that the junior that was being trained to take the x-ray had just begun her 3 year training course to become a Radiologic Technologists..!! Not surprised as there were buttons everywhere..!!
THE WAIT
Now it is just a matter of waiting for the x-ray to come back and I will be seeing the doctor in a few weeks.
Hopefully it won't be time to put up my dancing shoes..!!
The story continues.....
Thanks for reading
Stephen
All the best for your health
I started a diet myself last December, the first in my life, since I had always been afraid of the yoyo effect of gaining more than I would have lost before.
But then I saw some videos about the Keto diet, high fat and low carbs and lots and lots of green vegetables.
It's based on a lot of medical research literature and really good for your health, avoiding sugar altogether as well as all kinds of grains in order to bring the insulin level down, insulin being the real culprit in heart decease.
It has worked for me so far and I hope I can keep up the new and healthier life-style.
Here is one of the most prominent promoters of this particular diet (he's got literally hundreds of videos, explaining the science of it all):
and here is his whole youtube channel:

Thanks. I decided to go on a Sugar Reduced Diet after doing quite a lot of research and at first it was awful. For about 6 weeks my body was craving sugar. I emptied my cupboards of all sugar products and there were some crazy nights when I would pace up and down with the urge to have sugar. After 6 weeks things started to get better and now I struggle have anything sweet. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone but will warn them that the first 6 weeks will be hard. Stephen

Hey: here's something up your alley I saw at National Review:
"The NOAA ‘corrected’ data they didn’t like and — surprise — didn’t archive the evidence.."

You are absolutely right. Everything is stored on the Blockchain so if you make a change "the original" is still there and plain to see. Stephen

Excelente tu post Stephen / / Not only that you must be rigorous with your work themes, that seriousness is very important, but that condition must enter through the hoop of the most basic of our lives, without health there is nothing, even not even freedom, without family there is no Because and without the fun there is no balance, everything separately is part of an Integral whole. Excellent your post Stephen.

Thank you for your kind comments. Balancing life is so important that most people spend too much time on material things rather than the things that really matter. Thanks again. Stephen

You know your regular informative posts on financial health are of great importance, I follow them. But there is no greater need than personal health... all the best.

I agree 1 million %..!! You can have zillions in the bank but it means absolutely nothing if your health is on a downward spiral. My Health, My Time, My Family and My Friends are the 4 most precious things in my life. Everything else fits behind these. Thank you for your kind comment. Stephen
