I have a couple of friends that are into practically every conspiracy theory out there. Intelligent good people. It's baffling! I've spent many hours pondered why and how they could be so gullible. My conclusion is that they have a desperate need to know what is unknown and hidden in the darkness. Like children that see the darkness under their bed. And, of course, there must be a monster hiding there.
