Every car I currently own are manual.92 BMW e36 5sp, 92 Mustang hatch 5 spd, 89 f-150 4x4 4 speed 1st is granny low and my 94 hatch civic 5 spd. I love manual 90% of the time, the other 10% is because I hate getting caught in stop go traffic. But I deal with. The best part about manual to me is that I can easily fix all of these transmission my self with out any special tools. I learn how to drive in a manual Geo Tracker that was hot pink, we called it the Barbie Jeep.

Wow, you can fix your own manual. That is great. My other vehicles are 93 Honda Accord and 91 Chevrolet S10 all manual. I heard about the granny low. Thank you for your comment.

Yep. I had the luxury of growing up with a mechanic Stepfather and a garage at my disposal also growing up in a agriculture community where a lot of people work on their own equipment. Granny low is a great thing to have for towing or off roading. One more cool thing about most old style 4 speed manuals with granny low is they have a thing called a PTO out or auxiliary out put where you can hook equipment to like air pump and/or hydraulic pump for a dump bed, snow plow ect.
