I was in a video call interview in a large financial firm a few years ago.
In the middle of the interview, the 2 guys on the other side of the screen got up to have some snacks and refreshment.
I felt very weird, but apparently it was intentional to make me stressed about it. I could hear them slightly talking to each other and laughing.
After a minute or so, one of them appeared again and politely said, " Sorry, we are just having some snacks. Do you want something?" and they both started laughing.
I smiled, hesitated a little, and said, "Yes, I would like to have a job, please!"
They kind of laughed at my joke, but I didn't get the job!
