Cat gets a shock from the mouse - funny video as the cat does NOT get the mouse. (Funny mascot)

in funnypets •  7 years ago  (edited)

Here is a video of our cat getting the shock of her life when she tries to get our mouse. Look at the funny jumping gesture the cat makes.

The story in the video.

Our neighbour’s cat adopted us. Her name is “Mau Mau”.

I know we should not have fed this lovely cat. Feeding someone else’s cat is like giving sweets to their children. Anyway, that’s what happened.

The cat became our owner. She owned us, not the other way round. The cat was now our pet.

She started to bring us presents. Cats bring presents to their owners. Dead mice, dead birds, sometimes live ones.

She would saunter into our house proudly carrying her prize. We were horrified, but the cat did not understand. We often had to tell the cat not to bring any mice into our home.

One day the cat brought a live mouse into the house, but it escaped. We could hear the mouse somewhere under our fridge, but it was impossible to see it or find it. The kitchen furniture and fridge are “built-in”. There is no way to move anything. The mouse lived happily under the fridge for weeks but we could never see it, just hear it.

We left the cat in the kitchen, hoping she would catch the mouse. She couldn’t catch it either.

Eventually, we set a harmless trap to try and catch the mouse. The trap is a box- trap, with a one-way door. The mouse can enter but cannot exit. The trap does no harm to the mouse.

In order to watch what happened, I set up some Arlo cameras. (See below for info about Arlo security cameras).

It took several nights before the mouse went in the trap. The mouse could see the food (nuts), but could not get to it without entering the trap door. The mouse was very wary of the trap. Eventually the mouse went into the trap.

We put the mousetrap in the garden while we discussed what to do with the mouse. We gave it food and water.

We planned to take it into the forest to let it go free.

Then the cat discovered the trap, and wanted to get the mouse inside. The cat could not get the mouse.

Eventually the cat tried to squeeze her paw through the mouse door, but got her paw stuck. As the cat pulled her paw away, the metal trap made a loud scraping noise on the concrete floor. The cat tried to run away, but the metal trap followed her and frightened the cat even more. WATCH WHAT HAPPENS!

My wife heard the loud noise and came out to see what happened. You can see the cat looking very guilty.

We decided to take the mouse into the woods and let him go safely. Lucky escape Mr. Mouse!

This video was filmed by me using multiple Arlo security cameras. Arlo cameras are battery operated WIFI security cameras which can be activated by a movement. They work in colour in daytime and infra-red black and white at night.

Well this was hilarious to say the least.
Laying a harmless trap and letting the mouse go in the end was very kind.

I saw a thing moving in the background when the cat was playing with the trap and it made me curious. What was that bluish thing?

And btw

Here is a video of our cat getting the shock of his life when she tries to get our mouse. Look at the funny jumping gesture the cat makes.

I think you should replace "his" with "her".

letting the mouse go in the end was very kind.

I think so! I agree! +1 :)

@syedumair. Thank you very much for spotting the gender mistake. Now corrected. The truth is I am never sure if it a boy or a girl.

We usually address a cat as a girl.
I don't know why but I have never seen anyone calling them a boy cat.

@syedumair yes, that so true cat's name in Nigeria are so so feminine in hearing.
There's one I know of, they call her jenny🐈

If you have a funny photo or video of her, you can enter the contest by @karlin
The details of the contest are in the above post.

Hahahaahahahahhaah, a male or female would do dear. Boy or girl are used for the humam race.

@syedumair Good day to you.
The bluish thing has gotten me curious 😂😂.
The poor network connection at my end has denied me in watching the the cat and the rat play.

The bluish thing is a Bosch robo-mower.

I found this video so funny and adorable also.

(1) I found the mouse so funny and cute. she is even more funny in the trap box while eating those food.

(2) When the Cat tries to insert its paw into the trap box it reminded me one of my childhood incident when I had a pet cat and she also used to act this way. Have look at the tail of cat while trying to get into the trap box, its really funny and adorable too.

(3) The theme of this video is so nice and a connection towards other creature and humanity is also being tried to established : at the end the mouse is set free and also the act of cat towards the mouse in the trap box is captured in this video which is funny and humorous and the background music added the perfect flavour.

(4) I love watching this short video again and again and this kind of video reminds our childhood days when we also act somewhat this way with cat or other pets also and if we capture those moments during childhood days and see it again when we get older, then definitely it gives a big smile on our face.

Thank you @swissclive for bringing back my old memories through this video and today I miss my pet cat sop much and also remembering a lot after watching this video.

Have a great day.

Dear @swissclive, thanks for sharing this and I am left with great nostalgia, God bless the works of your hands

For starters..
I had never heard of arlo cameras till now...
Good thing I stooped by.. I just learnt something new...

Plus the video cracked me so hard. I felt like I was watching a real life version of one of Walt Disney's creations...
Hahaha...

And the background music was the icing in the cake..

Can't stop laughing..I absolutely love it.

Thanks so much for the nice comments!

The trap does not harm to the mouse.

Thank you for using such traps.

The mouse was very wary of the trap

Clever mouse.

We put the mousetrap in the garden while we are discussing what to do with the mouse. We gave it food and water.

Great! Carefully :)

We decided to take the mouse into the woods and let him go safely.
Lucky escape Mr. Mouse!

For me it's read and see is nice and important. Although I do not know what Mr. expects. Mouse in the forest, but still happy that he did not understand the unequivocal outcome ...

I could not write a comment yesterday, although I wanted it as soon as the post came out. It's a pity. Thank you for the video and post!

I am very happy for the impulse that @karlin will receive in his contest of funny pets, on Friday we had an activity of my contest drcenando with @ @marsella-2017 it was all a success. the winner came from the capital to dive with us, tomorrow I will be writing the publication.

the winner of this contest will be very lucky.
It hurts that I can not participate, my pet is very ugly. hehehehehe

Your pet is ugly? Maybe a tortoise, or a lizard?

hehehe we have turtles at home, and flopy is the only dog we have. I haved a anaconda and a python.

the pet I'm referring to is a donkey that lives in the country, unfortunately I can not take it home.

What I have noticed is that Cat's among animals ALWAYS, tend to own their owners (Ironic, I know right?)

It's funny how the cat gets scared by what itself does while trying to drag it.

My girlfriend has a cat at her place and the cat has owned all the members of the family, She is eye candy for everyone and everyone gives her so much attention, it's unbelievable.

Wow...The cat must have been salivating for the mouse's blood. What a struggle.
This is true about life. We don't always get what we want. Some things just seem unreachable, no matter how much one struggles.
Nice video @swissclive. I love it, and I laughed and laughed.

I really liked the video so much that it was very funny especially when the cat jumped
I also liked the statue of the cock .
Why did you allow the mouse to go? He can go back, and if he does not return, he will enter another house. I think you should have given it to the cat.

Mouse is a very long way from any building in the forest. I think he was eaten by an owl.

I do not think so
I prefer to let the mouse eat it instead of releasing it
I also have a funny video of a cat playing with a mouse , I will participate in this challenge and you will like the video .

Thank you for this wonderful video I mocked the ridiculous cartoons of Tommy and Jerry.
I found a cat with a piece of karton and sat on it and looked at his neck for a while. Maybe the mouse went out of his mind and stayed in his hole.

I know we should not have fed this lovely cat. Feeding someone else’s cat is like giving sweets to their children. Anyway, that’s what happened.

Hehehe, I never knew cats were friendly . I have always known them to be sadists. Seeing that it got attaches to you guys simply coz you fed him is surprising . A friend of mine told me of how the got a cat that was a lil grown and the cat refused eating the food given to him. It kept looking at every one and by the next morning they didn't see him again. It disappeared .

She would saunter into our house proudly carrying her prize. We were horrified, but the cat did not understand. We often had to tell the cat not to bring any mice into our home.

I wonder how the cat manages to bring back live meat to your house without having to eat them. And how so you guys tell the cat not to bring back those to your house ? Do u just speak English to it? Hehehe that's funny.

The mouse lived happily under the fridge for weeks but we could never see it, just hear it.

Hahahahahhahahaha how did you guys live comfortably with a mice in your house? I would have packed out if I were the one. Lolzz....you guys should have just called those who could kill the rat or fumigate the house . Why did you want the rat alive?

The cat tried to run away, but the metal trap followed her and frightened the cat even more. WATCH WHAT HAPPENS!

Hahahahahhahahaha this is hilarious ...cats can fear ehh

My wife heard the loud noise and came out to see what happened. You can see the cat looking very guilty.

Owk this got me confused...my wife? @swissclive I tot your are a lady. #MouthAgape

Oh boy! That made me laugh real hard! The cat sure is a very curious, very persistent one! Lol! Very humane of you to release the mouse. Soo very sweet actually

This is absolutely amazing and very funny too. I found that you are very generous from this story as you adopted the neighbour's cat (or cat adopted you same thing ..lol) and you feed them . Even you gave water and feed to the mouse who annoyed for many days. Thanks very nice read.

This is so Funny. . . . !
What we are doing here is Also like Cat-mouse Game, Are we going to have two fictions Setting here, Trying to wait out of the fiction
LOL

Never had an experience of cat before tho, but i heard they are great pets.

The mouse lived happily under the fridge for weeks but we could never see it, just hear it.

All the while the mouse lived "happily under the fridge" what did she eat? That'sliving in hell. Lol

What did she eat? It’s a mystery to us too. The fridge was in the kitchen.

Lol.. What a funny cat. pets are one hilarious companion to have.. i still wonder why I don't have one yet. Hopefully gonna get one in no time.. Preferably a cat also.
And I really love your cat's name

Its soo hilarious....i practically laughed my ribs out...so funny.

I kind of learnt something a while back that when a cat owns you it bosses you in your own crib

hahahaha very funn1 keep it up Thanks for sharing this funny video I think its time to laugh I wish you all the best

Lol..quit hilarious i must say, makes me wonder what exactly was going through the cat's mind as at the time. Prety nice one there @swissclive

The kitchen furniture and fridge are “built-in”. There is no way to move anything. The mouse lived happily under the fridge for weeks but we could never see it, just hear it.

At first I felt pity of the mice but it became really interesting after being read
It's really interesting as watching TOM AND JERRY
Lolz

Hahahahahahaha that is one lucky mouse. The cat grew impatient and got stuck and later yanked it off. I definitely love the views to this arlo security camera. This is a first for me to see a "scare cock" or i didn't see that right?

Yes, it is a giant male chicken - a cockeral you spotted - bigger than a large dog. It scares away anything small.

Wow! That's the first time i am seeing such. Thank you.

Cats don’t have sweat glands over their bodies like humans do. Instead, they sweat only through their paws.

Hahaha, The cat and mouse are very funny.

I can only imagine what would be going through the mind of the cat, "Is that not the mouse I brought in the other day? " She wanted to claim her spoils back!

In Siam, the cat was so revered that one rode in a chariot at the head of a parade celebrating the new king.

She started to bring us presents. Cats bring presents to their owners. Dead mice, dead birds, sometimes live ones.

In my house there are 5 cats, all children of a Siamese cat that we have also kept for a few years, and none of them have ever brought me anything, haha, it must be because they do not like me very much, a pity.

It is quite interesting that they have released the mouse, I confess that I personally wouldn't have thought of doing that.

Cats are definitely a great pet, and it is as you say, we do not choose them, they choose us.

@swissclive that was too kind - "Catching the cat 🐱 in the trap and letting it go". If I should relate that to a life scenario is like monitoring a thief and finally getting him red handed on the spot and letting him go with no harm.

Here is a video of our cat getting the shock of his life when she tries to get our mouse. Look at the funny jumping gesture the cat makes.

From how you started the story I think the "his" in the sentence should be replaced with "her".

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Oh “Mau Mau” such a funny cat. My love for cat though!

Hahahahaha i once watched a cat catch a mouse and refuse to kill but only released it and then chase and step on its tail, it was so funny.
This video reminds me of that moment.
Oh and real thoughtful of you to consider releasing the mouse in the forest after trapping it, the world needs more people like you.

quality video @swissclive I am amazed at your ability so to interest a cat :)
I have a Siamese cat and a normal black cat at home. So these guys do not interest. One of them likes to watch birds and tries to talk with them. Honestly, when the cat tries to talk to the birds - it looks funny.
I think that as you put your video, thanks to the use of technology and how you brought your cat, you have every chance to become the winner of the contest :)
Good luck:)

This is hilarious! I laughed aloud :):)

Anyway - that's so human and kind of you to let the mouse go and live it's life - most people won't care for animals, especially for animals regarded as annoying and harming like mice, when actually they only want to live their life and and survive, and they really can't cause us much harm.
You make it all seem very funny but I can see your kindness between the lines, especially when you actually gave the mouse food and water and spent your time taking it to the forest.

You have my respect.

@swissclive I'm so glad about the sbd incentive on @karlin pet contest.
I'm loving every being of your support.
I am definitely joining that contest even if the odds are against me.
#funnypets
#funnypet.
😄👌

I am so happy to see the mouse is safe now, that cat was a little bit surprised when it caught its claw in the trap, it makes me think of crypto investors who panic sell when the market loses value :))

well i love the video .. i dont want that much just playe that redoom le

lol...so even cats get frightened ..really funny

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

You can not choose the cat as a pet, cat chooses you as a owner! Funny post by the way, thanks for sharing your story with us :)

There is a friend you have surprised me, you are an excellent sponsor, wow, I was surprised by your video, it is great, and thanks for the impulse of my contest, I did not expect this, I am very grateful.

Oh wow. This is so hilarious. I just kept laughing all through. Mau owned you. Funny

What software did you use to put this together?
This is very well done.

I used the standard video editing software available on a mac. It’s free software. Its called imovie.

About 37% of American homes today have at least 1 cat.

This video was filmed by me using multiple Arlo security cameras. Arlo cameras are battery operated WIFI security cameras which can be activated by a movement. They work in colour in daytime and infra-red black and white at night.

That's serious high tech, almost on some skynet level. Wondering about the mouse though, going about its normal routine unaware of the eyes watching hehe :D

Funny stuff, really. Now the mouse got stories to share with its folks and friends alike. He would narrate stories about his crazy adventure, his close shave with death at the hands of the monster cat.

Lol :D and its poor mama would wrap him in warm embrace.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Thank you for the video. The cat you have is unmatched.
In my life from the very childhood there were cats. They are very clever and playful animals. She drags mice to your house, because she considers you her flock. It is accepted to bring food to the pack. For animals, the most important thing is food. Appreciate such gifts of your cat. And in the case of a living mouse, she brought it to you so that you could play with it and develop your hunting instincts. What happened in the end-end. You caught the mouse.
My son learned to walk thanks to the cat. He so wanted to get to the cat, that first he went two steps. But the cat also went two steps. After some time, the son walked confidently.
I will definitely take part in the competition.
I have upvoted and resteemed

The video is cute, but I find "the mouse lived happily under the fridge for weeks but we could never see it, just hear it" hilarious! Thanks for sharing. : )

My grandfather has four cats. He lives in the village not far from river. Once he goes to catch fish. A bucket of fish he was brought and poured into a washbowl of water. The cats spun around the washbowl, they tried to pick up the fish with their paws. Grandfather peeled the fish and fried it. A couple fish he gave cats. On the next day grandfather went to catch fish. As soon as he set down on bench with fishing rod, four cats was appearing near him. He had to share a catch with fluffy pirates.

What a funny video of mau mau, this reminded me of a popular saying about cats, which says "curiosity killed the cat", in this case, curiosity caught the cat.

Besides I like the story, it helped me to learn something I did not know. I have had several cats, and the truth is that it never crossed my mind that the dead or living animals that they bring to our homes are gifts for us. Very good @swissclive! I will not scold my cats anymore.

There is a species of cat smaller than the average housecat. It is native to Africa and it is the Black-footed cat (Felis nigripes). Its top weight is 5.5 pounds.

As the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat!

I’ve had a lot of very sharp, intelligent cats over the years. Most cats are usually very resourceful. Looks like Mau Mau got into a fight with a trap she couldn’t possibly win! Let’s just be thankful she didn’t damage her claw after she got it hooked into the trap!

Is that a mouse trap.... lucky mouse, here they get more terrifying traps like this one
images.jpeg

Looks like the traps there are designed to keep the mouse alive. Lucky them.

Over here, don't be a mouse and expect to stay alive after being caught with one of our traps..lol

@swissclive Hahahahahha funniest thing I've seen on the internet today. I hate cats tho, prefer dogs. Dogs make good funny videos

This is indeed very funny, The cat and mouse video reminds me of the Tom and Jerry series.

Thanks for sharing this!

Wow, this is really funny indeed. You did a very good job getting those footage of both the cat and the mouse. But there are some things I don't understand o

The cat became our owner. She owned us, not the other way round. The cat was now our pet.

How can something or someone that you feed own you? I think it is the other way round. The cat always come around to bring you present cos you feed it. So the cat made you it's owner.

Here is a video of our cat getting the shock of her life when she tries to get our mouse. Look at the funny jumping gesture the cat makes

There is contradiction in that statement and what was narrated in the story. You refer to the mouse as your mouse but in the story, it doesn't look like the mouse is your mouse because you could not even see the mouse until it was captured and I don't think the mouse recognize that fact that it was yours

We could hear the mouse somewhere under our fridge, but it was impossible to see it or find it.

From the video, I think the space under the fridge is big enough to see the mouse. It might just be difficult because the kitchen furniture and fridge are built-in. I've dealt with a lot of mouse. If you take your time you can see it. It might just be difficult but it is not possible.

It's an interesting and funny video. I think I will also try my hand on some videos too and try to participate in @karlin's contest. Thanks for bringing the contest to our awareness and thanks for supporting the contest with 25sbd. I hope I will go home with the price

Hi @fatherfaith, in answer to the things which puzzled you.

  1. As many other bloggers pointed out. You never own a cat. It owns you. It’s a metaphor. If you ever start feeding a cat, you will know what I mean.

  2. Once I had caught the mouse, it became MY mouse, even though I only kept him as a captive for 10 minutes. I also describe him as “our mouse” because he had been living under our fridge in our home for weeks.

  3. Under the fridge there is a tiny air-vent, just big enough to insert my arm to put the mousetrap and camera in place. There is no way anyone could get their head down there to look around. We never saw the mouse anywhere except on the videos always captured in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. The mouse would climb up behind the fridge - where it is warm to hide when it heard us. We can’t move the fridge to look. It is built in.

If you look carefully at the beginning of the video you will see that there is some sort of healed wound on the mouse’s neck. I think that came from when the cat caught him and brought him into the house the very first time, and then the mouse escaped under the fridge, where it is too small for the cat to follow.

Wow, I think I've learnt another new thing today. That is why I always love it when I engage you in dialogue.

As many other bloggers pointed out. You never own a cat. It owns you. It’s a metaphor. If you ever start feeding a cat, you will know what I mean.

I never know know that for a cat to own someone is a metaphor. Thanks for bringing this to my understanding.

I also describe him as “our mouse” because he had been living under our fridge in our home for weeks.

Oh, I now understand the reason why you call the mouse your own. It's because it has been staying under your fridge in your house for weeks. I think I now agree with you on that.

In this part of the world (Nigeria) we understand mouse and rats alot because hardly will you see a house where they don't exist. They even once pursue our President out of his office . I bet it with you, it will not take me a week before I set my eyes on the mouse. I understand it will be difficult to place my head down to look but I will still find a way to lure it out.

Yes I noticed the wound too.

It been nice engaging you in dialogue and I'm also happy I learn a new thing.

Can't wait to see your next post @swissclive. I always enjoy them

Well me start by saying how much i have missed your presence here, hope you are good?
I cant just stop smiling seeing how hard the cat is trying to get the rat.

I have two questions here.
What did you later did with the rat?
Is it chicken or turkey that showed up in the video? Lol

It’s a giant cockeral. At the end of the video you see what happened to the mouse. I also say it at the end of the blog.

Rekt!
Also those woods near your house look beautiful!

That was one lucky mouse, he now has some interesting stories to tell when he gets back home :)
I couldn't be at ease knowing all that time a mouse was in the kitchen, I don't know how you guys did it.

Wow ... Wot a story #chuckle#... Funny pets, some cats are just so adorable. The mouse was so lucky for the escape... Lol. Great one @swissclive

Interesting!!!
The mouse would have been killed instantly in my country.
Cute lucky cat having escaped the trap

At first, "Mau Mau" would be like, lemme celebrate and congratulate myself for this great meat. But did not go as planned for her.........Laughing real hard honestly.
The video got me laughing very hard seeing "Mau Mau" dumb founded trying all she could but couldn't get the mouse out to be devoured. Trying she could, she was still still jubilating dangling her tail that nah! This meat is mine not knowing she is going to receive the shock of her life. The cat is well fed though.

"We put the mousetrap in the garden while we discussed what to do with the mouse. We gave it food and water."
Seeing this gave me another perspective of life, sense of reasoning that animals too deserved to be cared for. Thanks for openning my eyes because here in Africa, it's another way round, stepping an eye ona mouse is directly proportional to death....Really? Yes really, i mean total death.
Wow! Is that your lovely wife? She is very beautiful and adorable, look at the way she took a look the mouse calling back "Mau Mau" her charisma is superb. Tell her i am wishing her a lovely day from Africa.
Freedom at last for the mouse

A wonderful funny story with a happy ending!
You are so kind that you did not hurt the mouse and let him go safely)

In our basement there are a lot of mice.
The cats are waiting for the kitten from the first hunt to ask him about the details :) Lol

that mouse is so cute thou

The increase in the prize fund is a very noble act. Your video is great. After reading the description, I advise everyone to watch the video from the third minute.

Увеличение призового фонда очень благородный поступок. Ваше видео великолепное. После прочтения описания советую всем смотреть видео с третей минуты.

nice post...i.like so much...tnk u for sharing...this post...

That's hilarious! Thanks for sharing this moment with us! I secretly filmed one of my sock drawers one day because I kept finding socks draping over the top of the slightly open drawer. Turned out... it was the cat. He would reach in and pull out each sock, one by one. Hours of fun for him! I wish I still had that video. 😃

Lol, well nice try cat better luck next time!

LMFAO, talk of curiosity killing the cat, serves him right lol.

hahahah that was awesome!!! im a cat person, so i had to click on this!

This is most hilarious video. All the video is enjoyable but my most favorite part is the one when cat is making hard effort to hunt most favorite dish. He is continuously trying his best to open the box but in vain. His return after first failed attempt shows his courage to get the prey.
This is rare and really enjoyable. @swissclive

He is really funny 😅i like this video and you give me very good idea, filming my dog ,when don't have nobody in house 😊😊thanks. And yes,im in contest by @karlin with my lovely dog

Cats are funny, my landlord has two white cats, each morning they will come to my window and start staring into my room, at first I was uncomfortable cause in Nigeria we have this weird belief system, superstition and that made me wery the first days I moved there but now I realize they are just playful, I will see if I can get a video of them.

Thanks for sharing this video, it is funny how the hunter ran without looking back at the possibility of danger 😂 reminds me of Tom and Jerry

I can relate to this haha. My cat is so domesticated that she only pretends to be aggressive, but runs away and hides if her "prey" (an insect or even an inanimate object like a feather or a piece of paper flying around) "retaliates". It's really very amusing to watch!

awsome

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
To be sincere with you @swissclive i had a bad day, I have been depressed because someone who i so much cherish with everything in me actually broke up with me for no good reasons, I have been crying and heartbroken, but immediately I watched this video, it had a way of rejuvenating me back to life.
Thanks for brightening my life with smile. I feel Alright amidst depression. God bless you, you are truly a darling

Become a pop-star. Then the girl will regret leaving you.

I loved the contest initiative, a lot of success!! Here we are to support! Thank you @swissclive

Seeing this video made me laugh so hard...the patience the cat had ...to try and crack open the trap...lol... Hilarious.
Nice house.

haha! cats are so funny! but who knows, maybe they will start to be friends)

Hahaha this pussycat is a beauty, brave with the mouse, but cowardly with the unknown. Fortunately, this story has a happy ending.

Me divertí mucho @swissclive

Hi @swissclive,

I apologize for going off topic here I just wanted to grab your attention somehow, your latest post is about your baby and I didn't want to interrupt that post. But this one with a funny cat, I think is perfect.

We started a comedy contest (#comedyopenmic), Where everything goes as long as it's funny.

Contest details here.

I know you are a patron of comedy and as evidenced by this post, a funny man yourself. I would be very appreciative if you would enter our contest. It runs weekly, this is the 1st week of a 4week run (after 4 weeks we'll) reassess the viability.

And if you don't want to post but just prefer to laugh, check out https://steemit.com/created/comedyopenmic .

Well indeed, i can be very humouros when in the right mood. I’ll check it out.

The description of a cat is so aptly written. One so naively thinks they'll become the owner of a cat before adopting only to realise the exact opposite. Quite amusing how you wrote that you often had to "tell" it not to bring anything home!
The video really shows perseverance and determination which even most humans lack big time. Gave me a good laugh!

Thank you. The cat thought he was doing us a favour by bringing mice into the house. And yes it is my observation that cats just don’t listen to you. It’s as if they are deaf. They don’t care what you say. They just do their own thing.

If you want obedience, then it’s much better to get a dog.
