Kodi on firestick issues

I finally got around to updating Kodi on my Amazon fire stick to 17.3 and now nothing works including Crunchyroll and YouTube, Exodus, alluc. All apps let me enter the menus but when it tries to poll data it hangs. Crunchyroll​ did play once but when I went back same thing..... Does anybody have any ideas I was thinking of rolling back to a previous build but don't want to be open to those exploits. Kodi itself is able to play media off my nas no problems
