Prophecies for the future: Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth. Revelation 20:7-8

in future •  last year

The book of Revelations recounts a time of change for the world and humanity, a time where good and evil will confront each other, the forces of God against the forces of the diabolical trinity (the false prophet, the antichrist, and the beast).
In essence, the book of Revelations is about the resolution of the problem of evil in the world, with the establishment of the heavenly Jerusalem and the descent of wisdom to men as anticipated by the prophet Joel in his book.
It is important to note that the story in the Book of Revelations has many things in common with the prophecies for the future reported by many modern prophets such as Nostradamus and Fatima. A final antichrist, the third, the destroyer of mankind, called Satan in the Book of Revelations, must come, and beyond his efforts to destroy all that is good, his actions will only open the doors to those who must come next, an age of darkness must give way to an age of light. God's plan was established from the beginning of time and nothing can change it; and perhaps as the prophet and clairvoyant Saint Malachy anticipated in his list of Pontiffs, this coincides with the arrival of the last Pope, Petrus Romanus II.
In a way full of symbolism, the Book of Revelations recounts the arrival of this last antichrist and his defeat:
"Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown" Revelation 20:7-10.
