Very soon in the future, we will not have to drive anymore. Actually, lets take a step further. Here is the shocking truth: I am going to declare that in the future we would not even need to buy a car.

We already have a system like Uber and Lyft, but in the future, customers like us can order cars to come to us via smartphone. And yes, I said 'cars' will come to us, not drivers.

Artificial Intelligence will be fully developed and it will be everywhere. These cars self-drive, self-learn and self-aware. Not only are they self-aware, but they will be consciously aware of each other. There will be very small finite amount of car accidents and traffic congestion.

This ground breaking innovation will decrease the need for parking lots since everyone will decide to ride cost-effective self-driving Uber. No need to park your own car for 8 hours while at work. Suddenly, a drop in the demand for parking lots since these AI Taxi's will be riding around city picking and dropping off people instead of being stationary parked.

Results in less cars on the road, making environment and air cleaner. Many cars will also run on electric; you can thank Elon Musk for that.

Once you enter into the car, you can talk to the car and instruct it where to go. Like I said, cars will have AI technology and will be able to communicate verbally with passengers.

Whenever you order the cars, you will pay through the app on your smartphone. Perhaps, you might be paying these Taxi companies in, yeah you guessed it, cryptocurrencies.

Trunk space? You will have an AI powered storage with wheels that is attachable to cars and it can detach and follow you around on the side walk. Put all your belonging in there and you don't even need to carry it.

So long story short. Here is how it will play out. You need to get on the ride. You order the taxi service through an app on your smartphone or smartwatch. An electric powered AI car comes to you and you get in. Your trunk-storage attaches on to the car. You verbally instruct the car where to go. There is barely any traffic even though it is during rush hour. You and your storage gets dropped off and the car goes to pick another customer up. Your storage follows you around like an R2D2. In ten minutes, you get an alert message on your phone saying that your payment of 0.00020 Bitcoin to the taxi service was successful.

Will the cars be able to fly? well, I am just telling you what will happen soon in the future; not far in the future. Very very soon, this is going to happen.

The auto industry can lobby all they want but they cannot prevent the future from coming. Just like what happened to most of the industries, you must innovate or perish. Ask Kodak how they feel about not innovating and not adapting to the changes. The future is coming and we must be ready to adapt to the market disruption and revolutionary technologies.
