Many years ago we watched the cartoon series “The Jetsons” and dreamed about that day when we could have robots that assist us in our daily duties. We watched doors open automatically when you walk thru and watched how a smart home groomed and dressed its owners.
We were fascinated. The thoughts of this utopian future blew us away and made us want to live in a world like that. Now the year is 2018 and we are so many steps closer to make that a reality. With the Rise of computing power and the advances of computer vision we are starting to see more and more devices that can “think” on their own. That knows the world and navigate thru it. Devices that evade obstacles and recharge themselves. All of this elements Combine together to bring that Jetsons future a reality.
