I have been more accurate than most in cryptocurrency price prediction, but it is usually spontaneous without reading around much for anything better. And I've been wrong.
Here are my investments. If I had $5000 invested, these would be dollar amounts.
Ethereum 200
Golem 1800
Litecoin 200
Bitconnect 50
Bitshares 1100
Bytecoin 200
Quantum R L 200
Omni 50
EOS 1000
Bitcoin 200
Some of this was earned from other smaller coins that I sold to streamline my portfolio. Some of these amounts may be based on averages.
Thoughts
Seeing so much money with little obvious physical progress makes me wonder at the exuberance going into blockchain. It is wonderful that so much capital is helping push forward new important ideas.
At the same time, there is some risk of getting little return when the entire future could be EOS or some other new invention. It is like following a tornado.
Pay off your original investment was my previous good advice when everything was high. Now I suggest hedging elsewhere and keeping your favorite cryptos.
I am hoping that physical infrastructure will soon allow cryptos to make more useful contribution. I also desire that those without access to stable money will get it. For such a currency to thrive, it will need to be efficiently, keep a level value and be very easy to use. Mainstreaming may simply follow usefulness.
Other cryptos with business and other use may keep asset value in the future.
Bitcoin (and Ethereum) is always going up or down, since it is an entrance/exit currency
