Are ya there, God? It's me, Written Bird.

Pardon my frankness, but holy shit do I have a reading list for you!

First let's tune in for my inspiratory stream-of-consciousness riffraffery.

All good? Then HERE WE GO:

Let's begin by accepting that the math adds up. A vigorous, young black hole up in the 4D-verse gobbles and gobbles until it gets fat and slow. On its event horizon (flat (3D) from it's perspective), all those magical particles that are later spaghettified are recorded on the surface since information, much like "matter" and "energy", can't be destroyed. We're just going by the book, here. It matches the original explosion then steady inflation.

Given what these dorks suggest, yes the universe is a hologram. Fine, only because we have 2D-to-3D holograms to stretch the analogy. Got it.

But holography only works with a projection medium and an observer.

Now it's getting quantum-y. We KNOW with pretty good certainty that what may be a significant facet of consciousness is the ability to collapse a probabilistic waveform into actuality. If enough people look at the Moon, it's not just a math-cloud of Moon-ness.

But if it's all a hologram, who's looking pervasively enough that spookiness ceases and the cold, hard existence lays the foundation for us to evolve in the first place?

Well ...

I am by no means a religious person. I have reconciled myself to a valiant swing at red-letter living and bringing a whip to the bake sale, in a manner of speaking. But the inescapable conclusion that I have found is that we may be simulated for ineffable ends with ineffable means, and player one is the Most High.

I think wanting to "break out" is moot. We would just be leaving for a destination reflexively identical to what we are already living in in the first place. The critics either fail to see a relative centrism for our species (some other bunch of too-smart eetees could be cooking up the same theories within this 'verse) and could better their own ideas with this notion, or they would love to get on board for the sake of fun but aren't seeing the bigger picture.

I say, any guts you have within you to embrace what you feel is your purpose, go for it, because the stark vastness both robs one of purpose and frees one to invent one's own. I'd say the Deity is watching, but it probably doesn't care, because it LITERALLY HAS SEEN IT ALL.
