Korean temple - Gagwonsa

Instruction :
Drive 300m to the right after passing Cheonan IC, and you will reach Cheonhoji Lake. When you follow the paved road on the right side of the lake and drive about 3km, you’ll reach Taejosan Mountain. At the entrance, you will see a sign for Gagwonsa Temple, which is a large Buddhist temple. It is famous for the massive bronze statue of the Buddha, which was made out of the ardent desire for the reunification of Korea. The statue is 15m tall, and the ears and nails are 1.75m and 30cm long, respectively. It is considered the largest Buddhist temple in Korea, following Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju, and a tourist complex is being created in the site to attract more tourists.
