Getting listed on Coinbase is like the crypto asset equivalent to a Willy Wonka golden ticket ;)

In all seriousness, any coin that gets listed to CB is likely to become far more valuable because of the benefits of being listed:

1. Easier liquidity
2. Broader Audience
3. Usability
4. Reputability

Coinbase listed the following coins as being "under review" for potentially being added to Coinbase custody:

To clarify a bit as well, Coinbase Custody is not the same as being listed for trading on Coinbase. "Coinbase Custody is a custodial service for institutional clients optimized for storing large amounts of cryptocurrency in a highly secure way. As we’ve stated before, Coinbase Custody will likely support more assets than those available to trade through other Coinbase products."

As part of the exploratory process, customers may see public-facing APIs and other signs that we are conducting engineering work to support these assets.

I would absolutely love to see some of the Public-APIs that CB can come up with to interface with STEEM.

The Steem platform has a really unique wallet and public/private key system and I hope that CB recognizes that as well. There really isn't another crypto that offers the stability, usability, network effect, etc. that Steem provides it's STEEM currency.

Being listed on CB would greatly improve the Steem ecosystem through a reputation boost, price boost, usability standpoint, etc.

I know it would make my life 1 million times easier if I could transfer STEEM through Coinbase directly from my Steem wallet. Hopefully someone from CB is out there reading this!
