Date: Saturday, July 31st.
Attempt number: 3
First recorded attempt.
First attempt included listening to a “heart beat recording” and envisioning someone from my “desired reality.” I fell asleep only to wake up a few hours later to the heartbeat thrumming under my pillow from my phone with little to no recollection. Before hand, I attempted to write a “script.” A term for something that you do pre shift. I would turn my phone off, and go to bed. I would not have any vivid dreams.
Attempt two: I personally felt really odd but it could be chalked up to the fact I am also sick at the moment with a respiratory cold. I kind of forgot every other sickness still exists besides covid, glad I don’t have covid. However, on attempt two I listened to a YouTube guided “thetawave” video while I slept. I felt like I saw flashing lights and some weird things. Like my ears were ringing a little kind of strange. However I fell asleep, woke up a few hours later to “thetawaves” obnoxiously bouncing around my room, unplugged my tv and went to bed. Note: I had very vivid dreams. Kind of strange, ones including my ex, and even avatar with the blue people. (Yikes). The good thing about the video I chose was at least it was black screen with just sound pouring.
So now this will be moving to attempt three. In this attempt I am actually using this post as a bit of a “scripting” attempt to see if I really can conjure up something. Obviously maybe I’ve been trying to go for a too dramatic change so I’m just going to try the 55x5 method.

During this attempt, I will try to think of affirmations while I try to sleep. Believing is everything in this field, the truest challenge is pushing my skepticism to the side while I prepare for my third attempt at shifting. I will try the 55x5 method on here for 5 days. I will talk about everything truthfully and honestly:
This is my own personal project I suppose: is there really a way to shift to an alternate reality stored inside your brain?
For these affirmations I will repeat things like:
Shifting is a science. Shifting goes hand in hand with quantum jumping. It is a proven science. I believe I will shift. I will make it to my desired reality easily. When I am almost asleep, I will shift into my desired reality. My desired reality is something that I can easily reach.
Stuff along those lines. While I may seem skeptical I am very good at believing what I say to myself if I am curious enough.
There’s a video of someone holding their arms up. The person tells them to think of how cool and strong they are, when the therapist pushes on the client’s arms, the arms do not budge or extreme difficulty in budging. Next, the therapist informs the client: “tell yourself what a loser, idiot, moron you are.” Almost instantly once pressure was applied to their outstretched arms they fell almost immediately.
Anyways much love, Gambit.
