Solid Day of Development on Steem-Roller.com!

Even with all the FUD and horse shit that has been flying around the past week or so, development of the Steem-Roller.com service continues forward. Admittedly I was quite upset and shaken with the fallout from the selling of Steemit Inc to Justin Sun and the rumours of being dissolved and absorbed into the TRON blockchain.. But after seeing the respeonse from the community and witnesses I'm not as worried as I was. Things could still go bad, sure.. But at the very least for the time being STEEM is safe it seems.

Today bet lookups were implemented on the development server. So you can type something like "#43523" in the trollbox and look up the corresponding bet that it links to. Currently this only works for people linking their own bets in chat but I'm debating writing in a trollbox command like "/betlookup user #" in order to allow folks to look up other users bets if they so wish.

The planned v0.7.5 release for the end of the month is currently up in the sky.. While I'd love to say for sure the update will be at the end of February given the bit of FUD that was going on caused me to lose the wind in my sails a bit so to speak. With that being said though I've buckeled back down and am pushing to get the next version released by the end of this month. The biggest thing planned for this release left to accomplish is making the site friendly for mobile / tablet displays. Honestly have been putting this off as I fucking hate doing display compatibility stuff but in order for the site to grow it needs to be done.

Steem-Roller.com compared to the other sites has far more functionality, speed and potential than the other sites.. And while still rough around the edges the amount of bets the site has facilitated so far runs circles around the other gaming services that allow STEEM. In the future, once the site is to version 1.0.0 I imagine a large percentage of the gaming done on the STEEM blockchain will be done on it.

Tonight I managed to get a reworking of the provably fair information done which makes it far easier to check the validity of the rolls. Users can check their rolls on a 3rd party site in order to ensure the site isn't cheating! All STEEM gaming sites should have the ability to verify their rolls on a 3rd party site in order to make sure the gaming is fair! Always insist on provably fair and transparent information on sites!

On top of that users will be able to link their bets into the trollbox aas mentioned before...

Still a long ways to go, but still further ahead in a lot of respects in comparison to the other STEEM gaming sites. It will only get better as development continues on and I'm excited for the future of STEEM as well as Steem-Roller.com! Hopefully be able to launch v0.7.5 here by the end of the month.. :)
