Went to sleep early last night around 10PM or so with roughly 280 STEEM invested into the bankroll at Steem-Roller.com with 99x leverage, and then woke up this morning around 9AM to check the site and noticed my investment had grown to 1291 STEEM overnight! Seems resident degenerate champion betting guru @cowbay had a run away session resulting in him losing a fair amount of STEEM, which ultimately lead to investors on the site getting quite a large return on their investments!

Now to be fair could have just as easily woken up to having zero STEEM invested given the fact that using 99x leverage on any site is incredibly dangerous.. However got quite lucky ending up in profit due to the unlucky session of a user. This is not the first time though that folks have gone to sleep over leveraged on the site and woken up to respectable amounts of profit on their investments. While in the long term given that an investor isn't over-leveraged on the site they will almost certainly make some profits, with sometimes the returns on the short term being negative profits. The 1% house edge on the site coupled with the mathematics of the law of large numbers dictates that under most conditions investors utilizing sane leverage amounts on their investment into the bankroll should certainly see a positive return.

The site has a bankroll of roughly 12,000 STEEM & max win per a bet of 600 STEEM
This is due to people using pretty high bankroll leverage.

This means in a single roll a gambler can win nearly 600 STEEM.. Which isn't bad for a single click! The max roll profit scales according to the amount in the bankroll ensuring the entire bankroll can never be won but when investors deploy high leverage like they are currently you can see wild swings in the bankroll amount and max roll profit. Personally I don't mind allowing gamblers to bet big like this because it gives them a chance to walk away with a large amount of STEEM in only a few clicks if they have the balls to wager big. Big risk can equal big reward on Steem-Roller.com for both gamblers and savvy investors, just the way us degenerates that frequent the site like it. If you're itching to make some easy STEEM come check out the site and win some STEEM! If you're not much of a gambler but want to get in on the fun consider investing some into the bankroll and watching your investment slowly ( or quickly ) make returns for you as gamblers lose.

Should be lurking on the Steem-Roller.com trollbox if you want to drop in and check the site out. New users to the site can get 1 Free STEEM tipped to them in order to get familiar with the sites betting and investing features. Come in and say hi, gamble and invest but most of all have fun and don't risk more than you can afford!

I don't understand how the leverage works.
Where does the money come from to cover my gain?
If i have 10 steem invested @ 90% leverage do i lose it all if the bettor wins 1 steem?

The leverage dictates how much of your bankroll that you're willing to risk per a bet.

If you had 10 STEEM invested at 99x leverage (max allowed) and a player came in and won the most they possibly could in one roll you'd lose 99% of your bankroll.

Money comes from the loses of gamblers. Essentially the leverage allows you to risk more of your investment in order to get more of the gamblers loses, but also makes you more likely to get your capital won by gamblers betting and winning if they get lucky.

Hmm,...

Noticed that too, got 2 Steem from it. With a "safe" leverage of 2x.

But still the faucet is the best thing.

lol. Yeah I need to fix the faucet to prevent people from draining it so fast..

Jeah, who would do such a thing.

Wow! Well done! Gamble paid off!

Honestly didn't mean to fall asleep at 99x leverage.. Just got lucky I guess!

Where do I invested in steemroller

Hopefully this highly technical illustration helps!

Thx

No problem. You can use the "Greed Slider" to set how much leverage you want as well..

More leverage is more profit if players lose but also more loss if players win.

Nice win!

Was pleasantly surprised for sure. Could have just as easily went the other way.

Hm, seems my investment didn't change (had greed at 5x). Is there an option to view investment history?:)

Depends on how much you had invested really. Ifyou only had a small amount of STEEM invested at low leverage your gains or loses are negligible compared to investors with large investments at high leverage

So far no investment history. Is on the table to be added though.

Cool :)

Good one!

Got lucky for sure...! Could have easily woken up to nothing given the large leverage deployed.

Should I do it on my phone because I deposited some but can find the invest

Ah crap. I'd suggest a computer if you have one.. The mobile version of the site isn't good right now. .Sorry about this. :/

That's fine i will be on my pc later. So should I set the greed to medium for a chance of getting profit.

It is up to you.. You get more profit at medium greed but also can get more loses if someone wins big. Is hard to say!

You should make profits though. Greed just makes you get more. :)

If you can see if you can "view desktop version" and see if that helps?
