As I continue to grow in Steem power, I ponder all the ways I could use this for something good. I believe I have come up with a game that is win-win for everyone, suits the Steemit platform organically by rewarding all participants, and is quick and easy to play - no strings attached.

Starting on Friday December 29 2017, I will run my very first weekly SBD (Steem Backed Dollars) Piñata game.

Here's how it will work:

1. I will randomly generate a number between 1 and 1000. I will take a screenshot of the number, with a live world clock in the same image as proof that this game is not being rigged. (to be revealed after the round is over)
2. For 3 full days I will accept one guess from all Steemians. All you need to do is comment with a number between 1 and 1000, and I will give your comment a 10% upvote (Limiting the game to 3 days allows me to regenerate my voting power for the next round). If someone else has already guessed a number, I may reply and inform you to guess again. simply reply to my reply to guess another number. guessing more than once will not get you additional upvotes. Spamming comments or being overly rude will get you ignored and disqualified. I will update the post periodically with a table showing who has voted what. Once your answer is in that table, you are locked in and editing your post will not change your answer. Once the 3 day mark is up, there will be no more guesses accepted.
3. After 7 days, the Steemian who guessed nearest to the randomly generated number will get the full SBD payout for that round. Given the nature of this game and the luck involved, I am confident that no one will win the prize twice in a row. If such an event does occur, I suggest that person go and buy a lottery ticket. As stated in the previous point, if someone attempts to cheat by editing their answer later, I will already have added your original answer to a table, and I will know by looking at steemd.com.
4. Whether you choose to upvote the Pinata Game is up to you. The more payout my post gets, the larger the SBD reward will be for the winner after 7 days. I will be upvoting on the main post as well, just to make sure there is at least a small prize to give away.
5. The next SBD Pinata game will feature the previous week's winner and their payout, including the screenshot of the previous round's randomly generated number with a live world clock.

Note: Any abusive or negative posts will result in being ignored. I hope to bring something fun to Steemit that is quick, easy to participate in, and comes with a guaranteed reward for everyone.

Please also note that a 10% upvote may be worth more if you guess sooner. If there are a lot of participants, my voting Power may diminish rapidly. After the first game, I may or may not have to tweak the time I give for people to comment. The first run this Friday will be a good indicator if any adjustments need to be made.
