I found some of my favorite childhood games have been added to a new website that just launched this week.
I thought many of these games were lost to time but it appears that they just got a new home on the web.
These games are very silly and kind of crude but I grew up with them and they give me so much nostalgia.

Many of the games are "Spoof" fangames which are parody games of the popular videogames in the 1990s. Many make fun of Mario, Zelda, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Starfox, Wario, even Sesame Street.

At one time the game "A Nightmare on Sesame Street" was the most downloaded game on download.com in 1999.
It eventually got so much notoriety that even Jim Henson's company found out about it and sent a mean letter to the creator. It was pretty much the wild west back then on the internet.

Most of these games were created by the software made by Clickteam called Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion.
The game engine can be kind of buggy but I still love to play these games. Most of the games are a simple EXE that is in a zip file.

I am excited to read that they are converting some of the games to HTML5 to be able to be played online, since Flash has been disabled on most browsers in 2021.

Here is the exciting announcement from their site:

"Currently we are developing HTML5 versions of Clickteam games from the 1990s-early 2000s

You can check out this BETA portion of the website at https://biebersoft.net/arcade.

Currently we have these games (somewhat) playable in our arcade:

Starwolf
Talk Show Riot!
A Nightmare on Sesame Street

You can always play the original games for free by finding them on the Homepage or you can check out all the downloads in one place at https://BieberSoft.net/games"
