It's been a hard week and most of my time have gone into negotiating with artists interested in the project, But in the meantime I managed to finish the code for the equipment screen. Now we can:
- Equip our characters with the finest weapons and armor we can find.
- Write events that are dependent on or triggered by wearing specific article of clothing, weapon.
- Dress characters with jewels and start showing off.
- Have a very advanced dress-up mechanism.
- Pretend to be someone else.
- Wear all black and go for stealth missions.
- And anything else depending on equipment mechanism.
In the process of writing this part, I've broken the tools mechanism because it was in the way, but don't worry, I'll replace that with a better version.
