Videogames are my guiltiest pleasure, it’s the wasted time I enjoy the most, therefore isn’t wasted. Im not –by far– the most “gamer” of gamers, but I do enjoy playing videogames from time to time… So, there’s a short list of my 5 favorites videogames:
1. SKYRIM
You know it’s a good game when you have played at least 5 times, and at the 5 time still AWESOME AS FUCK! I have played all the DLC’s and have to say: Totally worth it. This is my favorite videogame ever, it has everything I like in a game: Medieval theme, DRAGONS, adventure, with All the RPG elements possible, many quest that could burn away your free time, many races (I think this is one of my favorite features), many weapons and for the time it was released the graphics where damn good. You’ll have to spend dozens of hours to fully explore Skyrim.
My only complain about this game is that sometimes has some minor issues but as a whole is a brilliant RPG. It offers you a wonderful world full of legends and mysteries, tens of guilds that you can join, a great character development and an extensive crafting system.
It’s really hard to get bored while you’re playing Skyrim, and reach to you maximum level it’s quite a challenge. So… What are you doing now not playing Skyrim? Go, go, go!!!
PS: If you don't sing Dovahkiin you won't be able to feel the emotion of playing Skyrim.
2. THE LAST OF US
The Last of Us is a third-person adventure game (Not a Survival Horror in my opinion) that's a masterpiece, which breaks the self-imposed barriers of gaming narrative.
A post-apocalyptic world never looked so good.
The way in which the player comes to feel identified with the character establishes from the first moment an emotional connection and, in many ways, shows us the severity of consequences to our own actions. The survival aspect of this game makes you use wisely every bullet and every supply. Low ammo mean conserving, low medical supplies mean making you bullets count and make shifting weapons is necessary in surviving. Game play is a lil bit glitchy at times, but compared to the greatness that is this game, it can be overlooked.
Overall this game has one of the best characters to ever be created in a game, one of the most perfectly set stories for what it achieves to comprehend and awing atmosphere to which will leave you stars-truck as you see a world crumbling around you.
3. BLACK OPS II
This is one of my favorite shooters games, the campaign is quite good a lil bit short but still interesting. The story has several different endings based on player input, so be careful out there! The fact that no longer feels like a game where you follow the yellow objective marker from one shooting gallery to the next, doing what you’re told, it’s amazing for COD, because you got the control of the game.
But my favorite feature of this one is the gameplay (More innovative and open approach), the wide range of guns and maps that are mind-blowing. I could play it online for hours and hours if the internet in Venezuela wasn’t a total crap.
About Zombies in my opinion novelties go through more interesting maps, but on the other hand there are not too many incentives to devote many hours to this mode only suitable for their fans.
4. THE EVIL WITHIN
The first thing I would recommend is that you shouldn’t expect it to be SH, but, If you like the adrenaline you should play this game at night, no lights, and your headphones on. This game had my heart raising most of the time, it resembles a lot to Resident Evil 4, although with its own shades. It’s not easy, today, to scare the gamers offering a real survival horror experience. The shortage of ammo and stealth mode is what stands out with respect to other Survivals Horror. About the gameplay for a survival horror is the right one. You can run but you get tired, you can walk and you can jog. You can also go with stealth although some skills like running can be increased. The graphics are pretty decent, but far from the best.
The work of Tango Gameworks was able to fulfill its objectives and provide a terrifying, adventurous experience that will remain for the memory.
5. BIOSHOCK
The first time I’ve played this game I had PSN, and it was totally FREE, so I had really low expectations, but I have to say that still one of the best games due to the history behind it.
The first person gameplay is very good, it’s a shooter that without being perfect does give you what you need in a game like that, typical roulette arms, combine plasmids with weapons becomes quite interesting and attractive.
Great start, very good initial immersion and immediately awakens your interest in moving forward and discovering the secrets of Rapture. You realize that it is a game out of the ordinary, devoid of videos and that forces you to think a little, it is not a shooter in the purest classic style, it is a game that invites you to think, reason and explore, to have a hard time especially at first and to go carefully.
The first confrontation with a Big Daddy will always remember as an EPIC, is a moment that after passing you cannot help thinking, "Dear God, I do not want to have to face another again." And that not many games get it. The story that you discover with the Little Sisters is fantastic, although at the end of the game, you do not even remember most of the characters that have appeared to you, except for the main antagonists: Andrew Ryan and Atlas. And this may be due to the lack of empathy you can develop towards any of the characters, with the sole exception of the Little Sisters.
In general it’s a good game, I really enjoyed playing it, and for me that’s enough!

I feel you. I haven't play a GOOOOD game in a while, the kind in which the day turns into night and you're surprised at how immersed you're in another world
