Holy hell you are not wrong. I waited fucking /years/ for Diablo 3 to be released and when it was: 1. absolutely required an internet connection - 2. On initial release the imagery of that game could not have been any further away. They trashed it.

When I saw a screenshot from D3 for the first time, I knew it wasn't really Diablo. I was so disappointed.
