I agree with all you said, except that absolute beginners should start learning c++, c#, python or something else. I think learning c# with Unity is more fun because you can do a lot more than console and basic window applications.

thanks for stopping by. it's definitely more fun moving around characters in unity, but you probably won't have much depth. you're also gonna be quite limited to only what is in the tutorials. at the end you still gotta be able to code.
