My Gamerself

I might actually make a series out of this one. I have been gaming for mroe than 30 years.

The first game I remember playing was Ludo, or "Ne Ljuti se covece" in Serbian, which can be translated as "Don't be angry, man!"

I got my computer sometime shortly after that, a ZX Spectrum 48. i remember playing any games I could get my hands on, although my favourite was Jumping Jack, on the rare occasions I could get it to load.

This was a long time ago, 1982 to be exact. Since then, a lot has happened in my life, but my interest in games has not faded. I just have less time to play.

I have played, and still play a large variety of boardgames and tabletop roleplaying games. I have been involved in Theatre-style LARPs for a while, as a player, author and organiser (due to the time investment, that is something I have not had a chance to stay active with lately). Although i enjoy card games, and I have tried out a couple of CCGs, I just do not have the patience and attention to detail needed to actually collect them.

On the video-game front, I mainly play PC Games. I prefer old-style point and click adventures, and I need a strong story in my game. I hardly ever play with other people, mainly due to time constraints. I prefer not having other people count on me.
In my philosophy, the aim of a game is to have fun. This is true regardless of whether I am playing solo or with other people. I am very uncompetative. I would rather have a memorable loss than an easy victory.
