It's a hyper-fun and addictive, bitmap base-building experience that's also co-operative, with up to 12 players to help manage your operations.
What are Meeple?
They're basic space-dwelling creatures. They're not people, nor are they particularly clever. They enjoy working and exploring. But.. they're rather fragile so are prone to getting blown out of airlocks, hit by meteors or attacked by space pirates. They're going to need a lot of guidance...
Meeple Station was birthed from the love of two genres. Good ol' RTS games, like Age of Empires and Starcraft, and the complex simulation genre, like Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld.
It taps into major gaming areas of management, crafting, defence (against space pirates), economy, mining and community, all with a good dose of humor. It also has the potential to be entertaining for YT streamers.
Free!
And what's great at this time of posting is that it's still very much an open project, where if you enjoy the demo and support the devs on Kickstarter (pledge $6 or more), also means you can get involved with its development, testing new features in the ongoing beta version. You also get a copy of their previous game for free.
