I've not seen anyone call it Splinterlands 2.0 But I'd say it's a very fitting name. We've been through so much updates in Q1. Game doesn't look the way it used to. I'm so happy to see that. We even got a new survival mode 🔥
That's just a start. Even bigger update is right around the corner. Conclave Arcana is about to release along with a fiat on/off ramp. Yep! That means players can just get fiat in their bank/card out of game rewards 💸
Looks Only Stared Changing 👀🍬
We got a promise of skins. That is pretty much the only part not delivered. I don't think skins are super important right now. We've got to bring more players. We need stuff that affect gameplay.
Single Player Missions 🎮
That's right folks! We've got these quests that teach players how to play. Basically they get a story adventure, rewards and hand holding for start. I'm kind of proud to just make it work without any of this guide stuff. But we can't act like Dark Souls if we need to expand player base.
It's not a lot of chapters. But that's a kind of good TBH. We need just enough to help noobs. We have more stuff for devs/artists to do. Rewards are soul bound. We'll get to nudge more players to buy spell book.

Q2 Full Of Packs To Open
We've got new types of packs. They cover many types of needs. More choice on what to spend money is good. It's not nice to feel being forced to invest in some extra add ons just to get what you wanna have.

I've got 1 excuse: February is a short month! So its less days to play ranked. It's been so long since I last saw silver.
No worries though! Didn't take long to get back in gold. League advancing rewards are pretty small. But I'm back in easier territory. I've got more days to play this season too 😃
More annoying part is leaderboard is messed up. Most of us aren't where we're supposed to be. I thought I'd be around top of silver this season. But that might not happen. Hoping for a hot fix.

@vugtis should try to do something about this. He should be on top with real ranking. He has huuuge SPS stake too. So his voice will get heard louder.

Need few more fragments to combine. What's slowing things is DEC. Just don't have enough of it right now. You guys can help me with a few votes. I can funnel that HBD to DEC. Totem fragments will be gone in few years. Best to get in before player count hit ATH again.
1st Max Level Gladiator 🗡️
It's a slow n steady ride. Ran out of crypto to do anything big years ago. I earn some Merits. Then I buy some packs. Early levels are pretty easy to get past. Then it all get super slow. Didn't expect to hit this target this fast.
Actually had this for some time now. Missed out on sharing with you guys. I have just 1 summoner to get this in its full level 4 glory. It's been good the few times I used it. Don't sleep on Gladius Cases. They're really useful!
Lots Of Upside For Splinterlands 2.0 📈
You've heard all these stuff about be greedy when others are fearful etc. You've heard pitches and hype. But what about fundamentals . NPE changed so much of Splinterlands. That's why I call it 2.0 now. Web 3 has not figured out this part yet.
We used to be on top. Now it's just 72 in GAMES!!! Survival mode can look attractive to a different type of player. Land is different. Then Soulkeep is again different. We've got a ecosystem expansion. We've got 15K MAUs. That's still pretty good. We just need some mainstream coverage. We're looking ready for it with each passing update. This is most excited I've been since past cycle top!
