What is... KryptoWar?

Welcome to the first of many 'What is...' articles on ethgames, the first game we are taking a look at is KryptoWar.

As of the update introduced in 05/02/2018 KryptoWar has evolved into one of the most feature full games on the blockchain. The game follows a very similar manner to the highly successful browser game, erepublik (Erepublik).

• There are a total of 100 countries, and the potential of 300 provinces available in the game as things stand.
• The aim of the game is to crush all opposition to become the strongest country in the world, through a mix of XP, Army Size and GDP.
• The Minimum buy in for a country as things stand sits at around 3 ETH, with provinces pricing in at around .3 ETH.

Why would i want to own a country?

• Countries are priced much higher than a province for a reason, as one of the exclusive 100 countries available in KryptoWar, you have the chance to own and run factories for producing weapons and vehicles of war. You can also gain the ability to charge for skills training via schools.
• Most importantly, as a country you have the power to charge up the leaderboard, and become champion of the universe, earning 10% of all gold currency sales in the game.
• You can also make 3 provinces, that provide you a steady income on all gold sales, giving you a constant income source without even needing to particularly be heavily involved in the game.

Why would i want to own a province?

• Priced at about 10% of the price of a country, provinces enable players with less initial starting bank to enter the world of KryptoWar.
• Each country can only sell 3 provinces, for the cost 0.79 ETH + gas to produce all 3.
• A province starts with 10 gold - which currently has a minimum sell price of around 0.01 ETH, and produces 2 more gold every 12 hours.
• For each gold you sell, you make 80% of the sale, with 10% going to your parent country and 10% going to the developer.
• Without doing anything this gives you a guaranteed income at current prices of 0.032 ETH a day, that's over 0.9 ETH for free per month if your gold sells!

OK i bought a country / province, now what?

• The priority for all provinces should be to purchase 5 shovels asap, i highly recommend the store 'Bring The Rain' which may or may not be my own :)
• You should then remember to log back on at least once a day to list up your available gold, there are more updates coming soon for provinces that will let you battle too!
• For countries, the journey is a bit more in depth, you should have a thought about what you want from KryptoWar, do you want to race for the top of the leaderboard, or to simply run a solid economy with assistance from your provinces.
• At army level 1 you are able to buy teacher and engineering certifications.
  
• At level 3 you are able to purchase the right to create provinces. This automatically allows you to create 3 provinces to list up for your chosen price.
  

The Future

• The developer behind KryptoWar seems incredibly passionate about his project, not concerning himself about profits but more the quality of the game available, he also listens and acts on community feedback left in the official discord: https://discord.gg/j43u79g.
