KURSK will be released this year

Announced almost three years ago Kursk is finally ready for a debut, and this will happen this year. That announced the developer Jujubee in a post on his site. In addition to the standard definition of Kursk that it will be a drill box that will allow exploring the interior of a submarine through innovative gameplay mechanics, it is quite curious to claim that this will be the first "complete adventure-documentary game in history."

"The game takes advantage of a large number of mechanics and solutions developed by the industry for years and uses them to tell a story," explains Kursk. The game, as you might have guessed, tells of the tragedy that happened in the Barents Sea with a submarine K-141 "Kursk" 18 years ago when 118 seamen found their last port in a still unexplained disaster. It is precisely the many unknown and attempts to explain that will be the focus of the game. You are playing a spy who is trying to get information about the Shakel super-torpedo, which, as Jujubee points out, are "an object of interest to all intelligence services at the time." Most of the game will be in the submarine, but you can also visit Moscow as well as the garrison Video.

The Jujubee people promise to feel as part of the crew of a real submarine. In addition, they report, after Kursk's debut, two additional content packs will be released: Kengir, telling a prisoner, escaped from the Soviet-era Kengir Labor Camp in 1954. This would be a completely different story in a different setting. The second DLC will present the virtual reality support.
